A fond farewell!

It was announced on the evening of Sunday 1 March, that two members of the formation staff at the English College are to reach the end of their five-year terms during the summer. Fr Anthony Doe will be taking up a new appointment as Spiritual Director of Allen Hall from September 2020, while his place on the staff at the VEC will be taken by Fr Konrad Grech, SJ, from Malta. At the same time, Fr John Metcalfe will be returning to the diocese of Hallam, and his place on the staff here as Pastoral Director will be taken by Fr Michael Doody (Leeds). Thanks and appreciation are due to Fr Anthony and Fr John. We look forward to welcoming their successors, Fr Konrad and Fr Michael. All four can be assured of our prayers and good wishes as they embark upon their new ministries.
